FALCON sells license-free walkie-talkies designed to operate on frequency bands permitted for public use in India, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Wireless Planning & Coordination (WPC) Wing under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India.

1. License-Free Usage

FALCON products are intended to operate on license-free frequency bands (PMR446 or other permitted bands as applicable in India) and are suitable for short-range wireless communication without requiring an individual wireless operating license, subject to compliance with applicable regulations.

2. User Responsibility

The customer/user is solely responsible for:

  • Using the device strictly within permitted frequency ranges
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable Indian wireless and telecom regulations
  • Avoiding any unauthorized modification of frequency settings, transmission power, firmware, or antenna configuration

3. No Unauthorized Modification

Any modification, tampering, unlocking, or reprogramming of the device to operate outside permitted frequency bands is strictly prohibited.

Such actions may violate Indian wireless communication laws and may result in penalties, confiscation, or legal action by competent authorities.

FALCON shall not be held liable for any misuse, unauthorized modification, or illegal operation of its products.

4. Compliance Limitation

While FALCON makes reasonable efforts to supply products that comply with applicable Indian regulations:

  • Regulatory norms and WPC guidelines may change from time to time
  • Product usage approvals may vary depending on application, location, or deployment scale
  • Customers are advised to independently verify the latest applicable regulations wherever required

5. Commercial / Industrial / Bulk Deployment

For commercial, industrial, institutional, security, or large-scale deployment of wireless communication equipment:

  • Additional permissions, certifications, or approvals may be required from relevant authorities
  • Customers are advised to consult with WPC, DoT, or qualified telecom consultants prior to deployment

6. Liability Disclaimer

FALCON shall not be responsible for:

  • Any legal consequences arising from improper, unauthorized, or illegal usage
  • Regulatory actions, penalties, fines, or seizures imposed by authorities
  • Operational losses resulting from non-compliance by the user

7. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, possessing, or using FALCON wireless communication products, the user acknowledges and agrees to comply with all applicable wireless communication laws, WPC regulations, and Government of India directives.
